CRANKSGIVING - SUNDAY - NOVEMBER 16
The Bicycle Co-Op of Williamsburg is hosting "Cranksgiving 2025" on Sunday, November 16, and has invited the club to participate.
Cranksgiving is a food drive on two wheels: part bike ride, part food drive and a whole lot of fun.
We’ll meet others the Bicycle Co-Op of Williamsburg at 3:00 PM and ride as a group to deliver the food to the Williamsburg House of Mercy and back. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time of 3:00 PM.
If you have a commuter or touring bike with a basket or rack for panniers, great. If not, you can also participate on any bike and put your food in a backpack.
Club members are asked to spend at least $15 on food items that the House of Mercy needs to provide Thanksgiving meals for families:
Canned: Green Beans, Corn, Sweet Potato, Gravy, Cranberry Sauce or other fruit
Packages: Mashed Potatoes, Bread Mixes, Stuffing
Frozen Turkeys – any size
The Co-Op is located at 551 Merrimac Trail, Williamsburg.
NOTE: This is not a PBA lead ride so no registration is required, but this event was created so you get informed of changes or need to borrow panniers, racks etc. This is an family event for bring along every who's like to take part in this food drive on two wheels.
