PBA's Annual Rides

    • Saturday May 9, 2026 - America 250 Kick-Off Multi-Pace Multi-Distance Rides, The Kitchen - VA Beer Company, 7120 George Washington Memorial Hwy, Yorktown, VA
    • 22, 26, 31 and 35 mile options.
    • All rides brief at 9:00 AM (B+,B,C and D).
    • Note: No fee, but preregistration is required and will open about two weeks before the event.
    • Cool-off and socialize after the ride at The Kitchen, from the Virginia Beer Co. and receive a commemorative PBA-America250 pin. Register on the PBA website or through the club app.

  • Sunday July 13, 2026 - After the Fourth Ride Tradition Brewing Company, 700 Thimble Shoals Blvd, Newport News, VA
  • Eight, fifteen, twenty-three and thirty-three miles.
  • Rides: Multiple paces/distances with staggered brief/roll starting at 1:15 PM (B+,B,C,D and Casual).
  • Note: No fee, but preregistration is required and will open about two weeks before the event.
  • Cool-off and socialize after the ride at Tradition Brewing Company.

      Saturday August 8, 2026 -  Annual Memorial Ice Cream Social and Bike Ride, Sandy Bottom Park, 1255 Big Bethel Rd, Hampton

      • Rides: Multiple paces/distances with brief/roll TBD (B+,B,C,D and Casual). Rides will brief and depart from the parking area.
      • We ride in honor of deceased ride leaders and other volunteer members of the club: John Atwood, Mark Dulaney, Ron Hafer, Don Hubbard, Bill Nuckols, Jimmy Pereira, Mike Toole, Mary Turnbull , Brian Utne and Hazel Woodard. 
      • This is your opportunity to wear your legacy PBA jersey or T-shirt on the ride and participate in a group photo PBA. At the 2023 event, members wore eleven different jerseys and T-shirts dating back to the early 1980's. Of course we'd also like to see members in our current "sea bird" kit as well.
      • No fee, but preregistration is required and will open about two weeks before the event.

        Saturday September 19 -  Park to Park, Chickahominy Riverfront Park, 1350 John Tyler Hwy, Williamsburg, VA

        • Ride: Multiple paces/distances with brief/roll listed in the event registrations (B+,B,C, and D). Rides will brief and depart from the parking area beyond the pool.
        • Your chance to complete a Metric Century, Century or Member Challenge Birthday Ride on the Virginia Capital Trail (VCT) with club provided a water/rest stops at the Herring Creek Trailhead (the other rest stops has water and toilets).
        • An opportunity to bring a non-club member friend, co-worker or family member with you to experience the VCT.
        • No fee, but preregistration is required.
