I am sure many of you are glad that the club has brought back group rides, i for one am one of those people, but this announcement is meant to remind all those riders who DO decide to join a club group ride to follow and respect all Federal, State, and local laws, requirements, regulations, AND guidelines as well as those established by the club.  It is important that each member who is out in the public to adhere to all of them.  It makes us all law-abiding and respectful citizens of this great nation; let's show everyone what it means to be a PBA club member!!!

The club's Board of Directors is still looking for any club members who would like to be more actively involved with the direction, decisions, and policies for the club.  There are a few positions currently open that we really need to have someone step up to fill.  Current vacancies include: Secretary & Advocacy Director (voting members); Events Coordinator, and Volunteers Coordinator (non-voting members).   If anyone is curious or interested about the positions, please contact any of the current Board members, or send a message to the club's general email.

We lost a great Back Alley Ride and PBA member to a hit and run accident in the Dare section of lower York County on October 25, 2018. Two arrests have been made. Brian Utne was a great ride leader and bicycling advocate and practiced and taught sharing the roads with motor vehicles.
Husband, father, brother, son, employee, and bicycle rider.
Brian's memorial ride was attended by close to 400 riders and supported by the York County Sheriff's Office.

We all know how fabulous the Virginia Capital Trail is!

And we're excited about a new trail, actually two of them, in the planning stages to connect the Southern extent of the Virginia Capital Trail at Jamestown Settlement to both Fort Monroe and the South Hampton Roads Trail!
