Recommend bringing eclipse glasses for viewing the eclipse. Check your local library for a free pair if you do not have glasses from last year's eclipse. The Langley AFB library staff gave me an extra half-dozen eclipse glasses so we've got you covered. If you want glasses with other than a paper frame, check his site for vendors selling approved glasses , after all there will be another eclipse in the US in twenty years, or you may wish to travel abroad to catch one sooner. The American Astronomical Society cautions again buying from unknown sources online.
Optional: Join us for the spring general membership meeting for pizza after the ride. Meeting starts at 6 PM at Village Bicycles.
Note: Please bring helmet, full water bottles / hydration pack , front/rear/helmet lights and appropriate layers for the temp.
