Gravel ride from Harwood Mills park through the trails and fire roads of the Newport News Waterworks protected watershed. Pace will range from 14-16 mph and a little faster in open areas. It will be dark on return so a good head light is a must. Distance will be about 20 miles. There is a Portable Restroom in the parking lot at the start of the ride. Not recommended for beginner gravel riders.
Note: Please bring helmet, full water bottles and a good front headlight. It will be cold so dress appropriately for the temp.
