Group will be rolling out from parking lot at 5:30 PM.
Riding through City Center and central Newport News along mostly back roads and near the James River; 'sprint zones' included at the discretion of the Ride Leader. The usual 'regroup' areas will be noted at start of the ride. Because of the waning daylight by the end of the rides, we ask that all riders please have a good strong/bright front white light as well as a working red rear light on these rides for the rest of the year. It is important to stay safe for ourselves and our fellow riders in the group.
B+ pace, rolling at 18-20 mph on the flats depending on who is Ride Leader of the day; average will be 16-17 mph due to the several stops and turns the group encounters riding through the backroads of NN.
Parking available at the Conte's Tech Center at 12090 Jefferson Avenue, in front of the Conte's Bicycle shop.
Ride Leader will alternate between Jamie Clark and Alex Ramirez.
