Riding through City Center and central Newport News along mostly back roads and near the James River; 'sprint zones' included at the discretion of the Ride Leaders.
B+ pace (rolling at 18-19 mph)
parking available at the Whole Foods store in Tech Center at 12090 Jefferson Avenue (we typically park towards 'back' of lot, near entrance road and sign)
group will leave at 5:15 PM sharp as there is little daylight in the evening. Riders are required to have a good front (white) light at least 500 lumens and a red rear light.
