Thirty miles to a metric century.

Held on the Saturday before Memorial Day.

Online Registration is open!

The Ride:

  • Starting from Windsor Castle Park's picnic area at the intersection of Jericho Road and Kayak Lane in Smithfield, VA. Park on the grass nearby the picnic area.
  • 3 Routes that range from 32 to 62 miles take place on quiet and lightly-traveled roads though Isle of Wight County.  All routes have well stocked rest stops to keep you rolling.
  • Roads are mostly flat with a few small rollers.  Very few cars on the course.
  • Enjoy scenic views as you travel through Isle of Wight & Surry Counties.  Wildlife sightings are common so look around.
  • Afterwards, put your bike away and then enjoy a cookout that includes Pork BBQ from Q Daddy's as well as vegetarian and gluten free items.  Lunch is included in your registration fee.  All you have to do is show your armband.
  • If you like to kayak, bring it and take a little boat ride after you refuel. Kayaks can be rented by the half hour. The creek goes out to the Pagan River near Smithfield Station Restaurant.  There is also a great walking trail in the park if you need to walk after lunch.  Don't forget to ride down Main Street and visit some of the great shops before you leave.  It's quite nice!
