There is a large group from the PBA that will be going up to Salisbury to do the 26th Annual Seagull Century. You ride out to Assateague Island where we jump in the ocean before eating lunch and turning around to return to Salisbury. There are usually 10,000 cyclists so you always run into someone you know. At the 80 mile mark, they feed you apple pie and vanilla ice cream while chilling and listening to music.
Hotels are hard to come by this late in the game but if you are not opposed to staying outside of town or tent camping, sign up and join us. If you want to meet up with other PBA cyclists for dinner on Friday night, call Jack at the number below.
The PBA group is also planning to stay on Chicoteague Island Saturday night then wake up and do a nice easy recovery ride around the Island and eating breakfast at a local eatery on Sunday before returning home.
A large group of us do this ride and we have a blast! You can register at www.seagullcentury.org for the ride and contact Jack Liike at 757-788-1196 to find out how to meet up with your local friends in Salisbury Maryland.
