PBA's Annual Rides
Sunday May 5, 2024- National Bike Month Join/Renew Rides - Tradition Brewing Company, 700 Thimble Shoals Blvd, Newport News, VA
- Eight, fifteen, twenty-three and thirty-three miles.
- Rides: Multiple paces/distances with staggered brief/roll between 1:00 PM (B+,B,C,D and Casual).
- Celebrate National Bike Month and the City Cycling Challenges with a group ride.
- Join/renew your membership and socialize with others after the ride with a cold one.
- Note: No fee, but preregistration is required and will open about two weeks before the event.

Saturday May 25, 2024 - Smithfield Challenge - Windsor Castle Park, 705 Cedar Street, Smithfield, VA
- Thirty-three, forty-three and fifty miles.
- Rides: Multiple paces/distances with staggered brief/roll between 9 to 9:30 AM (B+,B,C,D and Casual).
- After the ride enjoy some "Champagne and Caviar of the South" (i.e. Moon Pie and RC Cola)
- RideWithGPS route and cue sheets available to download.
- Note: No fee, but preregistration is required and will open about two weeks before the event.

Saturday or Sunday July 13/14 2024 - After the Fourth Ride - TBD
- Our Annual After the Fourth of July Ride
- Rides: Multiple paces/distances with brief/roll TBD (B+,B,C,D and Casual).

Saturday August 10, 2024 - Annual Memorial Ice Cream Social and Bike Ride
- Location: Bethel Recreation Area, 123 Saunders Road, Hampton, VA Pavilion #1
- Date: Saturday, August 10, 2024, 8 AM - 2 PM
- Rides: Multiple paces/distances with brief/roll TBD (B+,B,C,D and Casual). Rides will brief and depart from the parking area.
- We ride in honor of deceased ride leaders and other volunteer members of the club: John Atwood, Mark Dulaney, Ron Hafer, Don Hubbard, Bill Nuckols, Jimmy Pereira, Mike Toole, Mary Turnbull , Brian Utne and Hazel Woodard.
- This is your opportunity to wear your legacy PBA jersey or T-shirt on the ride and participate in a group photo PBA. At the 2023 event, members wore eleven different jerseys and T-shirts dating back to the early 1980's. Of course we'd also like to see members in our current "sea bird" kit as well.
